Logotype

FreeMind's current logotype is butterfly.

There was a search for a new logotype for FreeMind 0.8.0 in 2005 or thereabouts. I (Dan Polansky) picked a lightbulb design by Frank Appel (see also a link to a patch below), but after others disagreed and after we were not able to obtain a FOSS license for the lightbulb, we sticked to the butterfly design.
