This is a glossary of terms used in the user interface of FreeMind.
- arrow link
- A curved line connecting two otherwise unconnected nodes.
- bubble
- An area with light background, surrounding a node and all its descendants, having a darker border.
- child
- A node in relation to its parent.
- connector
- An arrow link.
- edge
- A line connecting a parent node to a child node.
- graphical link
- An arrow link.
- node
- A small or large box containing terms for concepts, body text of paragraphs or any other text.
- parent
- A node that has child nodes, located to the right or to the left of it.
- sibling
- A node that shares a parent with another node, located below it or above it.
